I was born and raised in/around New Orleans. My folks are not what you would call foodies. Though they appreciate good food, no one is sure where I came from. I split my teens and early twenties between bad sales gigs and restaurant jobs (front of the house) around town. In 1994 I left for Boston and spent six years there working in restaurants (front and back) while I built a tech career. While there, I clubbed a Yankee over the head and brought a wife-to-be home in 2000. Made her legal a year later. Been back ever since, though I have moved the north shore post Katrina to raise my herd.

Currently I am a computer geek by day and a food hack when I get home. I live Abita Springs with my wife and two munchkins, who are frequent victims of my kitchen experiments.
